High School in Québec
Nacel Canada is pleased to offer both Bilingual (French and English) and primarily English programs in Montréal, Québec. Students attend classes in an English High School while enjoying their homestay with either an English or French speaking host family. Host families provide full room and board and Nacel Canada’s local coordinator provides continuous support throughout the program.

Through this program, you will be exposed to the cosmopolitan city of Montréal while improving your English language skills at both high school and at home.
Canada / U.S.A. Mixed Program – Spend the first 5 months of your program studying at an English high school in Montréal with either an English or French speaking host family. Rosemount High School, Montréal
Rosemount High School is committed to preparing its students to be responsible, productive, and bilingual members of society. Students are encouraged to reach their full potential academically, morally and socially. In a secure, multicultural setting, students learn to be respectful and appreciative of themselves and others. The school strives to develop self-esteem, self respect and self discipline within each student. Rosemount High School is located at 3737 Beaubien Street East in the St. Léonard area of Montréal. School Uniforms are compulsory. Rosemount High School has an award winning music program. Each year the school band travels to a North America wide competition in Boston. Rosemount also has a strong athletics program with two double gymnasiums and tennis courts on site.
Royal Vale High School, Montréal
Students with an aptitude for mathematics might like to consider attending Royal Vale High School with its emphasis on math sciences. The sports fields around the school are perfect for the football and soccer teams. The school also offers an enriched math/science curriculum, French Immersion Program, and an Extra-curricular Activity Program. Marymount Academy, Montréal
Marymount Academy is situated in close proximity to the Villa Maria Metro station and is easily accessible by bus routes. Twenty-eight percent of Marymount Academy students report a language other than English and French being spoken at home, and 18% were born outside Canada. A compulsory school uniform is the norm at Marymount. International Baccalaureate and Music programs are very popular. Marymount Academy offers a mix of helpful student services including English as Second Language tutoring.
Laurier Macdonald High School, Montréal
Laurier Macdonald High School is an International Baccalaureate World school. All students benefit from a degree of exposure to the International Baccalaureate Program’sphilosophy of academic development and social/global growth while profiting from the availability of a variety of curricular frameworks. Success is promoted through the teaching and exploration of multiple literacies, the Media Production program, Community Learning Centre, and the diversification of learning pathways including an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program, Bilingual Studies or a Core English syllabus. The school has a special media arts center for photography, video, and computer design courses. Laurier McDonald also has its own swimming pool.
John F. Kennedy High School, Montréal
John F. Kennedy High School is located at 3030 Villeray St. East in the St. Léonard area of Montréal. The school has a modest dress code that students are required to adhere to. John F. Kennedy High School boasts a very strong athletic program and even has its own swimming pool and two gymnasiums. Their soccer and swim teams regularly compete in larger tournaments. The school organizes annual trips to Europe and to California.
Lester B. Pearson High School, Montréal
Lester B. Pearson High School believes recognizing the student development as a whole person. The individual is encouraged to acknowledge each moral, intellectual, emotional, social, aesthetic and cultural selves. The school offers regular academic programs, advanced placement program, enriched courses to prepare the student for their future path into society. If the student has strong academics they can follow an Honors or Advanced ScienceProgram. Testing may be required to enter these programs. School Uniforms arecompulsory. The students are encouraged to participate actively in the extra-circular activities in various sports and clubs through the school year … there is something for everyone.
Nacel Canada offers continuous support to participants. A local Coordinator will work with each individual student, including arranging their homestay and acting as contact throughout the program.
