Newbridge Academy, Dartmouth

Starting in September of 2017, Newbridge Academy will have moved into its brand new, 72,000 square foot facility in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The new facility will include an indoor turf field for soccer, baseball and golf, a cafeteria/auditorium for performing arts, and a 7,000 square foot training space for ProEdge Sports Conditioning.

Adjacent to the new facility is the Dartmouth Multi-Pad, a four pad ice arena approximately 138,000 sq.ft. in size. One of the ice surfaces is a feature rink with seating to accommodate 300 spectators. The same rink will be equipped with a sound system for special events. Newbridge Academy will be utilizing the Multi-Pad for its acclaimed hockey program, which allowed it to become the first educational institution in Nova Scotia to obtain the coveted Hockey Canada Sports School designation.

Newbridge students experience high-level hands-on academic learning that is combined with both daily physical activity and leading technologies that make for enjoyable days for every student at every level. Every student will have a tablet computer loaded with the course and reading materials they will require for their academic classes.

Teachers deliver an enriched academic curriculum and enjoy the professional freedom to deliver it in a manner that reaches each student on an individual level by employing a variety of proven teaching methods.
